What happens when I come for a treatment?

On your initial visit I will carry out a full consultation discussing your health, what you hope to achieve, how many treatments may be needed and the cost. An extra 15 minutes will be booked on your first visit for your consulation - there is no extra charge for this.

If you are having a massage or Stone Therapy I will leave the treamtment room and you will be asked to undress. You can wear loose and comfortable clothing for a thai massage - pajamas or a tracksuit are ideal. Treatments can be adapted if you wish to keep some undergarments on. It is important that you feel comfortable and safe during treatments to achieve the maximum benefit. We will therefore only do what you feel comfortable with.

You will be asked to lie on a couch and will be covered with towels. At all times your privacy and dignity will be protected. I will use oils or creams and work on different parts of your body. Whilst working on some areas may cause a level of discomfort I do not believe in creating pain in my clients. My approach is to gently work on painful areas, allowing the muscles, ligaments and nerves to release their tension.

The time of a session will vary according to the treatment that you have.

Although a single treatment will be enjoyable, the effects of treatments are cumulative.

A course of treatments will bring most benefit.Discounts for block bookings are available.

(If you have any medical concerns you must discuss them with me. Most illnesses or diseases benefit from massage but there are some conditions where you will need to seek guidance from your Doctor or consultant before having treatments)
